TOP REMAINING 2021 TARGET SETS COMMITMENT DATE
Monroeville safety Derrick Davis Jr. was the first 2021 prospect that James Franklin and his coaching staff offered. Davis Jr. is Penn State’s top remaining 2021 prospect, and now they know when he will announce his commitment date.
Committing November 7th!!

While it can be difficult to feel confident about any player in the 2021 recruiting cycle due to how the cycle has gone for Penn State, furiously knocks on wood the Nittany Lions appear to be in a very good spot here. Davis Jr. has visited Penn State more than any other campus, and due to the COVID-19 pandemic he has been unable to take a lot of other visits we wished to take.
Three of the four 247Sports crystal ball predictions for Davis Jr. are in favor of the Nittany Lions. The fourth is cloudy. When Davis Jr. announces on November 7th, it appears that Penn State’s 2021 recruiting class will get a long overdue shot in the arm.
FOUR-STAR 2022 RUNNING BACK RELEASES TOP 6
Tevin White, a four-star 2022 running back, has released his top 6. This top 6 includes the Nittany Lions.
Top 6!

Thank you to all the schools who showed me love and gave me this opportunity!
Special thanks to @BGilmer18 for the edit ! pic.twitter.com/TbpwEha5uX
White attends North Stafford High School in Virginia. This is the same school that produced current Nittany Lion running back Devyn Ford, as well as offensive lineman Nana Asiedu, who, unfortunately, had to end his Penn State career before it began due to a heart issue.
Prior to the recruiting world going to hell due to COVID-19, White is a player that had been on campus multiple times. While Penn State may not be the leader for White, they are undoubtedly in the upper half of his top 6.
PENN STATE COMMIT SET TO RECEIEVE AN HONOR
Offensive lineman Landon Tengwall, who is Penn State’s highest rated 2021 commit, will play in the All-American Bowl this January.

Tengwall is also the leader of the 2021 class. Few offensive linemen in the 2021 cycle are more polished than Tengwall is and he should be able to make an early impact in Happy Valley. He will undoubtedly represent Penn State well at the All-American Bowl, both on and off the field.
