Despite it being the eve of the season, Penn State’s wide receiver room got a little bit more crowded as Shippensburg wide receiver Winston Eubanks announced his transfer to Penn State.

Eubanks, a 6-foot-0 185-pound wide receiver, had an extremely productive career at Shipp. After redshirting his first season, he has been an All-PSAC member the previous three seasons, totaling 148 receptions, 2,853 receiving yards, and 28 touchdowns during his career.
Of course, the jump up from Shippensburg to Penn State is a steep one. Nittany Lion fans saw firsthand last season just how steep that jump is, as Weston Carr — also a standout at the DII level — could never break into the rotation in Happy Valley. We’ll see if Eubanks has better luck, although it remains to be seen whether he is a late add for the 2020 team, or if he plans on sticking around through 2021.
