Noah Cain enters the 2020 season following a impressive freshman debut. The four-star running back came to Penn State from IMG Academy in Florida (but calls Baton Rouge home) and instantly showed he belonged in the Big Ten. Cain rushed for 443 yards and a PSU freshman-record eight touchdowns in 10 games, averaging over five yards a carry. He did this despite missing significant time in the middle of the season, including the entire Minnesota game and most of the Ohio State contest. Going into 2020, Cain was named to the preseason Doak Walker Award list, given to the nation’s top running back. Along with Journey Brown, Devyn Ford, Tank Johnson, Caziah Holmes, and Keyvone Lee, Cain helps make Penn State’s running back room the best in the conference, and Nittany Lion fans are looking forward to seeing him run over Indiana defenders in three weeks.
