If you’re looking for a potential breakout player on the Nittany Lion defense this fall, redshirt sophomore defensive end Adisa Isaac would be a smart choice. The four-star prospect proved too talented to keep off the field, making the most of his true freshman season where he saw meaningful time as part of the rotation at defensive end.
Isaac finished the year with 14 tackled, 3 TFLs, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He was a noticeable presence whenever he was on the field, disrupting far more plays along the way. Isaac is set to play an even larger role in 2020, and could soon develop into one of the most fearsome pass rushers in the Big Ten.
Just 20 more days, folks.
