Penn State will be getting some help at the safety position with the addition of JUCO transfer Ji’Ayir Brown. The Trenton, New Jersey native arrives in State College after playing two seasons with Lackawana Community College, where he helped guide the team to a 21-1 record and was named the 2019 Northeast Football Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Brown was rated as the ninth-best overall JUCO transfer of his class, and the #2 safety.

Brown plans to major in journalism with ambitions to become a sports analyst following his playing career. Welcome to Happy Valley, Ji’Ayir!
