NCAA Football: ACC Championship-Clemson vs Miami Jim Dedmon-USA TODAY Sports

We’re down to just two more Saturdays until Penn State and the rest of the Big Ten join the action. Fortunately, there’s a pretty full day of entertaining match-ups to help pass the time. Enjoy these six-hand picked games, and keep up the date with the current college football odds on Sports Betting Dime. They have 25+ games listed for the coming weekend.

(#22)Texas vs. Oklahoma
Noon, Fox

You might be hard-pressed to find any other teams who had a more disappointing start to the season than these two rivals. After another offseason of hearing that “Texas is Back!”, the Longhorns needed a late miracle to squeak past Texas Tech before falling in week two to TCU. Things are even worse for the Sooners — after starting the season at #3, they have now fallen completely out of the Top 25 after suffering losses to Kansas State and Iowa State in its first two games. However, like any true rivalry, the record can be tossed out the window. This is a hugely meaningful game for both teams as they will each fight and scratch their way to a victory that could help salvage their season.
Prediction: Oklahoma-41, Texas-37

(#19)Virginia Tech at (#8)North Carolina
Noon, ABC

The Tar Heels are riding the hype as they look to build back the program under Mack Brown once again, but needed a crucial two-point conversion stop to get past B.C. last week. Meanwhile, Virginia Tech was easily able to get past Duke despite missing about a third of their team. If they can welcome the majority of those missing players back for Saturday, it seems like the Hokies are poised to pull off the upset.
Prediction: Virginia Tech-27, UNC-21

(#14)Tennessee at (#3)Georgia
3:30 p.m., CBS

It’s a battle to stay unbeaten between the hedges. Georgia blew past Auburn in the season’s first match-up of top 10 teams, while Tennessee had a similar result in a blowout victory against Missouri. The Vols will be fighting for a signature win under Jeremy Pruitt to prove they are back, but Georgia’s stingy defense will likely prevent that from happening.
Prediction: Georgia-28, Tennessee-17

Texas Tech at (#24)Iowa State
3:30 p.m., ABC

These two teams have played in some of the most thrilling games of the young season. Prepare for a fun battle that should go down to the wire.
Prediction: Iowa State-45, Texas Tech-41

Kansas State at TCU
4 p.m., FOX

See above.
Prediction: Kansas State-42, TCU-38

(#7)Miami at (#1)Clemson
7:30 p.m., ABC

Miami has looked more like it’s old self so far this season, but the schedule has not been very challenging thus far. That all changes Saturday, as they visit Clemson for a prime-time clash. This will be one of the best opportunities for an ACC team to dethrone the Tigers, but not something that should be expected.
Prediction: Clemson-38, Miami-20
