Can this season just be over?
Another week, another loss. Penn State fell to 0-4 for the first time in a long time and has now fallen all the way down the rankings.
At 0-4, there isn’t much to hide. The stats basically tell the whole story.
There weren’t many silver linings from Saturday, but the inspired play of Will Levis was a positive. Coach James Franklin hasn’t committed to either Levis or Sean Clifford against Iowa, but the answer seems obvious.
Silver linings do exist elsewhere in Penn State athletics. Penn State basketball is back, albeit in a tough non-conference schedule. And Penn State hockey opens its season tomorrow night against Minnesota.
