The stage has been set. After a come-from-behind win over Michigan State, Penn State has drawn Illinois as part of the Big Ten’s Champions Week.
The crossover matchups are sure to create some intriguing storylines aaaaaand one of the games has already been cancelled. No matter, I’m sure the Nittany Lions will get quite the test from the Illini aaaaaand the Illini have fired their coach.
That Championship Game should be fun though, right? Just, you know, don’t look at the spread.
Well, hooray for more football, I guess.
Barring Penn State’s involvement in bowl season — which, oh boy — this may be the last chance for a number of Nittany Lions to don the blue and white. With a very different atmosphere for this year’s Senior Day, they’ll surely take as many more games as they can.
