The Redzone TD% and Redzone TD% Defense are calculated by me and not ranked by the NCAA. Determining who has the advantage in these categories is strictly my arbitrary judgment.
I did not expect that we’d play a team worse in the red zone than us this year, but then again, I didn’t expect to play Illinois. So there’s that.
and also...Penn State leads the Big Ten in offensive first downs? It helps when you’ve played all your games, but still, for a 3-5 team, that’s surprising (leading the conference in punt returns after Jahan Dotson’s 81-yarder last week is much less so).
One of the things that Illinois is very good at this year is ball-hawking - so hopefully Rock & CJF will keep it on the ground.
What say you all?
