TOP 2022 TARGET’S TOP 10 & COMMIT DATE

Of their non-committed targets, few are a bigger priority than wide recevier Mehki Flowers. Flowers has released his top 10. From this top 10, Flowers will make a college decision on January 1st.

Flowers could play safety or wide receiver at the collegiate level, and he could play either at an elite level. That said, he appears set on being a WR in college. This would make the Steelton Highspire product the latest blue chip WR to join Penn State’s 2022 recruiting class, joining Anthony Ivey and Kaden Saunders.
Flowers currently has three crystal ball predicitons on 247Sports. All three of these predictions are in favor of the Nittany Lions. All signs point toward the Nittany Lions getting good news on New Years Day.
2022 WIDE RECEIVER’S TOP 8

With how well Penn State is recruiting wide receiver in 2022 it’s unclear where Trent is on the coaching staff’s board. Especially if they do add Flowers to the class later this week, already giving them three wide receiver commits for 2022.
Regardless, it is good to see Penn State continuing to have a strong recruiting presence in the Detroit area. While fans may not always be happy with the play of Penn State’s safeties, there is no denying the ability to recruit Detroit that safeties coach Tim Banks has brought to the table.
