Back-to-back losses this week for the Nittany Lions sent them down the ranks of the AP Top-25 for the first time in weeks. Losses at home versus Illinois and at Indiana have Penn State back outside the Top 10, and now two games behind Maryland in the Big Ten standings.
Penn State is now 16th in the AP Poll, 25th in NET, and 20th in Kenpom.
After a few down weeks the Big Ten has rebounded in the AP Poll with six teams cracking the Top-25 and two receiving votes.
This week Penn State returns to State College with a chance to return to their winning ways against Rutgers on Wednesday evening, and then heads to Iowa for a ranked match-up against the Hawkeyes.
