Penn State Rewind Open Thread

Come watch with us as the Nittany Lions pull off a stunning comeback to down Ohio State in front of a packed house at Rec Hall.

NCAA Wrestling: DI Wrestling Championships Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

In 2018, Penn State wrestling had its lengthy dual win streak put to the test at home when Ohio State came to visit.

The Buckeyes, led by Olympic gold medalist Kyle Snyder, were undefeated and the Nittany Lions were without star 157-pounder Jason Nolf due to a knee injury suffered against Rutgers.

Despite the odds stacked against them and an early OSU lead, Penn State came from behind led by Bo Nickal and Anthony Cassar to claim a miraculous 19-18 victory.

Come relive the action as we watch along together in the comments and on Twitter!

Because the video is not available in full, I’ve build a YouTube playlist linked below that has each match except for the 133-pound contest between Corey Keener and Luke Pletcher, which seems to be non-existent.

We plan on starting the viewing at 7:10 and will take very brief breaks between starting each match. Follow on twitter to make sure your viewing lines up.
