A third member of Penn State's senior class is going pro. Liam Folkes has signed a two-year deal with the Bakersfield Condors, the AHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers.
Folkes became a household name after netting the double overtime winner in the 2017 Big Ten Tournament championship game.
Since then, he has formed one third of a formidable trio with Evan Barratt and Alex Limoges. In his four seasons, Folkes produced 48 goals and 103 points. His best season came in his junior year, when he put up 18 goals and 42 points.
