Isaac Lutz enters his fifth and final season as a Nittany Lion ready to once again be a key contributor on special teams. After all, he saw action on kickoff coverage in every single game last season, recording tackles in four different games. He even caught his first career pass, a 15-yarder during the blowout win at Maryland.
Currently a graduate student, Isaac earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting less than a couple weeks before playing in the Cotton Bowl. Look for him to provide that seasoned veteran presence in kick coverage and perhaps this year he’ll not only catch a pass, but also catch one that results in a TD.
