In addition to the men’s and women’s hoops team, the additional returning football players include the incoming freshmen, plus veterans such as Micah Parsons. Tyler Donohue at Lions247 did an in-depth preview of each of the freshmen who will be setting foot on campus for the first time, which includes the likes of Curtis Jacobs, Micah Bowens, and Keyvone Lee, amongst others.
It was nearly two weeks ago on June 8th, that phase one of the return of athletic team members began when 75 football players reported back to campus. Assuming a 14-day quarantine period for these incoming athletes, expect it to be another two weeks before the third wave of returnees arrive in Happy Valley, which would be the week right after the 4th of July holiday weekend. NCAA-mandated practices for football are slated to begin on Monday, July 13th.
