Only Mike Miranda Until Penn State Football

Mike Miranda joined Penn State in the 2017 recruiting class as a 3-star prospect from Stow, OH. 2017 was a redshirt year for Mike, before first seeing the field in 2018, where he appeared in 13 games, including one start.

2019 saw Miranda push for more playing time, as he once again appeared in 13 games, with eight starts at right guard - Miranda and C.J. Thorpe alternated starts at the RG position. Following the Indiana game, Mike was named the Offensive Player of the Week by the coaching staff.

With the graduation of Steven Gonzalez, Thorpe has taken over the right guard position, and Miranda will be the starter at left guard. Those two should represent two of the nastier offensive linemen the Lions have had in some time, and will look to be part of a strong offensive line for Penn State.
