The Athletic’s Audrey Snyder recently tweeted out a letter signed by 80 parents of current Penn State football players. The letter demands answers from Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren and Penn State President Eric Barron regarding the cancellation of the Fall football season only four days after a revised Big Ten schedule was released.

The entire letter can be read in the below tweet, but here is a summary of the parents’ demands:

  • A clear presentation of the medical information used by the Big Ten Task Force that led to the cancellation of the season
  • A reinstatement of the revised Big Ten schedule
  • A Zoom meeting regarding eligibility of the 5th year players and players who chose to opt out of the 2020 season

Who knows what will develop out of these demands, but this is certainly something worth paying attention to. Stay tuned.
