Three Penn State football players are facing charges Monday after university police officers say they found marijuana and LSD in an on-campus apartment.
According to a police affidavit filed Monday, officers reported to the apartment of Devyn Ford, Saleem Wormley and Caedan Wallace around 3:40 p.m. on Aug. 2 for a fire alarm.
Once in the apartment, police found marijuana “all over the floor” and detected a strong smell of burnt marijuana. Officers also reportedly found two tabs of LSD in Ford’s bedroom in addition to a marijuana grinder, as well as a marijuana in Wormley’s room and a glass pipe with marijuana residue in Wallace’s room.
None of the three had a defense lawyer listed and the athletic department says it is aware of the charges in a statement.
“These alleged actions to not reflect the values and standards of our program and will be addressed,” the statement said.
