36 days. 36 days are how many were between August 11th and Septmber 16th. On August 11th the Big Ten announced that they would postpone their fall 2020 football season. Then on Septmeber 16th, the conference announced it was changed course and will in fact play this fall.

As one would expect, Penn State players and coaches alike took to Twitter to celebrate the news. To continue to good vibes going today, let’s enjoy some of their highlights from Twitter on Wednesday afternoon.

Not surprisngly, it was quarterback Sean Clifford leading the charge.

There was some worry that running back Journey Brown, defensive end Jayson Oweh and tight end Pat Freiermuth could opt out of any 2020 season. Especially after it was reported last week that Freiermuth would not play this fall. Well, all three of these players nipped those rumors in the bud on Twitter.

Penn State coaches also joined in the celebration. As always, led by head coach James Franklin.

Players also expressed their gratitude toward Coach Franklin for helping to fight to make sure a fall season took place.

Franklin also had some fun with Brown, while also sending plenty of love and excitement his way as well.

There were also plenty of players who took to Twitter in just pure jubilation. Can you blame them? Take how excited you are right now and multiply that by about infinity and that is where these players are, especially those who are gearing up for their final season in Happy Valley.

While we do not yet know who Penn State will now kick their 2020 season off against, we do know it will be in just 38 days!! The next 38 days can not go fast enough. Oh, and speaking just the number 38, we leave you with one final Tweet from number 38 himself, and likely team captain, Lamont Wade.
