Penn State Basketball received a scheduling update. The Nittany Lions will play three games next week, as opposed to the originally scheduled two, in order to make room for the previously postponed games against Rutgers and No. 9 Wisconsin.
Penn State will play at No. 14 Illinois on Tuesday, January 19th (moved up a day from its original Wednesday slot). They will then host Rutgers on Thursday, January 21st, Northwestern on Saturday, January 23rd (not moved from its original slot), and Wisconsin Wednesday, January 27.
If all goes according to plan, the Lions will play six games in two weeks, with dates against No. 10 Michigan and No. 21 Ohio State still to be made up. Expect more “three games in two weeks” kinds of deals as the team looks to make up its last two games.
Here’s a snapshot of the upcoming two weeks:
Sunday, January 17th: at Purdue
Tuesday, January 19th: at Illinois
Thursday, January 21st: Rutgers
Saturday, January 23rd: Northwestern
Wednesday, January 27th: Wisconsin
Saturday: January 30th: at Nebraska
