2021 Official Signing Day Recruiting Thread Weeeeeee!!!!!!!

Hello Again Fellow Recruiting Enthusiasts-

The next major recruiting event is the Class of 2021 Final Signing Period. All un-signed players will then be able to put their pen to paper and sign their LOI. Without further ado:

CLASS OF 2021

The Class of 2021 is just about wrapped up with every commit signing in December. There aren't really any other prospects left on the 2021 Big Board, but here is a remaining target Board for 2021:

1. 4* DT George Rooks - 6'4 260lbs out of New Jersey. It's between PSU, Michigan, and BC.

2. 4* RB Ke'Travion Hargrove - 5'11 185lbs out of Louisiana.. Was previously committed to La Tech. Final 5 now included Memphis, PSU, La. Tech, Texas State, and Lousiana. Odd group.

There's a few others out there who may have some interest in PSU, but I felt these were really the only two realistic targets left for 2021, but I do stand to be corrected or persuaded otherwise.

Right now, we're sitting at #23 in the 247 Composite Class Rankings. If Rooks were to commit, we would likely jump up to around 20 or 21, which seems to be the ceiling. right now, blue chip ratio for the class is sitting at 33%. Not terrible, but not great, but it's water under the bridge at this point.

CLASS OF 2022 BIG BOARD

Because it's time (drum roll) to move onto 2022, where we have a really good jump start on the recruiting front. Currently, we're ranked #3 in the country in the 247 Composite Rankings for 2022 with 8 four-star commits.

Below is the recruiting big board. Current commits in italics. Leave errors, omissions, or complaints in the comments.

QB (1-2)

4* Beau Pribula - Committed - 6'2 195lbs from Central York PA; #9 Dual-threat QB and 12th rated player in PA.

4* A.J. Duffy - 6'2 203lbs out of California- Has some interest but may be difficult to pull him from the West Coast, and all crystal balls point to Oregon at this point.

RB (1-2)

4* Nicholas Singleton - 5'11 195lbs out of Reading, PA - #111 nationally, #7 overal RB, and #3 in PA for this cycle. PSU is the favorite at this point in time, though he is also considering Ohio State and Notre Dame.

4* Kaytron Allen - 5'11 206lbs prospect out of Virginia (now attending IMG in Florida). We're listed in his recent Top 10, though Bama is the crystal ball favorite. Bonus fact: His Twitter nickname is "Fatman" which I can relate to.

4* Tevin White - 6'1 190lbs out of Virginia. He's made several visits to PSU in the past. Looking at his film, he definitely is advanced as a receiver out of the backfield. Crystal balls are 100% to PSU at this point, but also has Tennessee, South Carolina, Duke, Georgia and Arizona State in his to group.

4* Samuel Brown - 6'1 195lbs out of the Philly area (LaSalle). Not yet offered, but one to keep an eye on.

WR (3-4)

If these commitments stick, we will have one of the best all-around receiving groups in the country this cycle.

4* Mehki Flowers - Committed - 6'1 190lbs from Harrisburg (Steelton-Highspire); #121 overall player and #15 WR in the country

4* Kaden Saunders - Committed - 5'10 172lbs out of Ohio; #130 overall in the country and #18 WR.

4* Anthony Ivey - Committed - 5'11 107lbs out of Lancaster, PA (Manheim); #183 overall and #23 WR

There may be a few other players to watch at WR, but I'll probably hold off on adding them until I see some more concrete interest.

TE (1-2)

Hiolden Staes decommitted after Tyler Bowen left for the Jaguars job..

4* Jerry Cross - Committed - 6'6 220lbs from Milwaukee, WI

OL (4-5)

4* OT Drew Shelton - Committed - 6'5 255lbs from Downingtown, PA. #131 overall and #13 OT in this class.

5* OT Gunner Givens - 6'6 275lbs out of Virginia - He's the #2 OT in the country and #36 overall player. We're in his "Top 6" though he is heavily favored to Clemson at this point. Still, worth mentioning.

4* OT/OG Tyler Booker - 6'4 315lbs from New Jersey (now at IMG in Florida). #3 OT and #34 overall player Could play guard or tackle in college. Has PSU in his top 10, and has posted some pro-PSU stuff on twitter. I like our chances, but we're fighting Florida, Georgia, and LSU, among others.

4* OT Jacob Allen - 6'6 270lbs out of New Jersey. #87 overall player and #8 OT.

DE (3-5)

4* Ken Talley - Committed - 6'3 230lbs out of Philadelphia (Northeast)

5* WDE Enai White - 6'5 230lbs out of Philadelphia (Imhotep) - #29 overall player and #2 WDE for this cycle - hopefully no hard feelings left over from his high school related to Isheem Young from a few years ago, but we're battling SEC schools for his commitment.

4* Dani Dennis-Sutton - 6'5 250lbs out of Maryland (McDonough). Same school as PJ Mustipher and D'Von Ellies, so we've had some success recruiting players from his HS. Bama and Michigan recruiting him hard but all crystal balls point to PSU at this point in time.

4* Tyreese Fearbry - 6'5 210lbs - Recently offered prospect out of Pittsburgh area. Crystall balls favoring Pitt at this time.

4* Joe Strickland 0 6'4 245lbs - Out of the Indianapolis area Visited campus in January. Consiidering Michigan, Indiana, Purdue, and Notre Dame among others.

3* Aiden Gobaira - 6'5 225lbs out of Virginia. Has visited campus. All crystal balls point to PSU.

3* Popeye Williams - 6'3 225lbs, part of the All-Name team. All crystal balls point to PSU.

3* Keon Wylie - 6'2 210 lbs out of Philly (also Imhotep, same as Enai White)

DT (2-3)

5* Walter Nolen - 6'4 300lbs out of Tennessee - #2 overall in the country. Look, there's about a 0% chance we can get this guy, but we offered in September and he's compared to Ed Oliver on 247. His tape is scary. Given some of the coaches used to recruit in Tennessee while at Vandy, maybe there's a relationship there we can take advantage of to keep our name in the mix? I'm reaching. Its likely between Tenn., Bama, Clemson, LSU, and OSU.

4* KJ Miles - 6'3 260lbs out of NJ (St. Peter's). We're in his Top 16 (which is funny by the way). Favored to head to ND at this point, though. Bama and Michigan also in the mix.

3* Kwan Williams - 6'1 285lbs - Also out of McDonough like Dennis-Sutton. Smaller, stocky run-stuffer with quickness. Crystal ball recently for PSU.

LB (2-3)

5* Shawn Murphy - 6'2 215lbs out of Virginia. We're in his top group, but we're fighting with the likes of Bama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, and Ohio State.

4* Jaishawn Barham - 6'3 230lbs out of Maryland (St. Frances) - We have not had much success recruiting St. Frances kids in the last few years, but Barham has visited PSU's campus so that gives us a fighting chance.

4* Anthony Johnson - 6'1 230lbs out of Philly (Neumann-Goretti). I like out chances but Ohio State offered.

4* Abdul Carter - 6'3 220lbs out of Philly area (LaSalle). Has visited PSU, and we've had some success recruiting LaSalle, so I like our chances here.

DB (3-5)

5* Keon Sabb - 6'3 195lbs safety prospect out of NJ. #12 overall player in 2022 has visited PSU's campus and not many others (which is a good thing), but we're fighting with just about every other top school in the country.

4* Keenan Nelson - 6'1 200lbs CB prospect out of Philly (St. Joe's Prep) - We've had some success recruiting St. Joe's (John Reid), but also many failures, including striking out across the board last cycle (McCord, Harrison Jr., and Trotter, Jr.). Gott include the local kid, though.

4* Jaeden Gould - 6'2 190lbs safety prospect from NJ (Bergen Cath.). We made his recent "Top 10," though top 10s don't really mean all that much.

There are dozens of other offered DB's. I find this position to hardest to pinpoint who the actual realistic targets are, so any help with non-insider public info in putting together this list is greatly appreciated.
