Given some of the news of the day, BSD simply wants to take a minute and remind everyone to stay safe.
First and foremost, we are a Penn State sports blog, but we’re all people here, the writers and the commenters. We come together to rail against the teams we’re playing against, and to root for the good guys. Sometimes, all of that seems a bit trivial.
In light of some of the news in the last 24 hours - Washington, DC, Georgia, and not forgetting COVID-19 - BSD wants everyone to make sure they’re staying safe. Give your loved ones a hug, make a phone call to those you can’t see at the moment, and make sure to take care of yourself as well. We all love Penn State and its sports teams, but there are times when the bigger picture needs to be kept in mind.
