Thorpe came to Penn State as an elite recruit in the 2017 class with offers from across the country. He ultimately chose the Nittany Lions over Ohio State, Notre Dame and Pitt among others.
In his four years at PSU, Thorpe appeared in 32 games and made eight starts. including three this past season.
He’ll continue his career, notably, at defensive tackle, which is where he began his career as a Nittany Lion despite being recruited at guard. Thorpe’s size and aggression alone, in addition to his experience, make him a prime candidate to receive interest from across the country.
