Hi. I rarely post but wanted to share something that happened at the game on Saturday that gave me some important perspective. As we were on the concourse going to our seats, there was a small crowd gathered. EMTs we’re giving CPR to a man. And then using a defibrillator. A young man, prob in his last teens, sat nearby with a police officer, very distraught. I didn’t stay to watch but the man died. He went to watch his beloved team play and died right there on the concourse. And then the wave. They had a group of PSU player family and friends right below the hospital. We could see the kids. The smiles despite whatever brought them to the hospital were beautiful. And courageous.

The Iowa fans inside the stadium were brutal no doubt. But I’m alive, my children are healthy, and PSU still has everything in front of them. For the glory….
