Big Ten Media Days concluded last weeks, and its conclusion marks the unofficial start to the Penn State basketball preseason! Practices are underway, and the countdown to the Nittany Lions’ first game of the year against Youngstown State is on!

Penn State starts a new era under the guide of Micah Shrewsberry, who was hired earlier this year at the conclusion of the season. With him, as slew of new faces grace the roster and staff, and some key contributors remain with the Lions in what looks to be an interesting season of tempered expectations, but encouraging potential.

For those of you planning your tv viewing experience, four games appear on B1G+. St. Francis on November 18, Wagner on December 8, Quinnipiac on December 22, and Delaware State on December 29 are the four contests slated for the premium channel. The rest are on a combination of Big Ten Network, ESPN Family, or CBS Sports. Get those subscriptions ready now!

Over the next four weeks, we’ll have previews of the upcoming season, including new and existing players, schedule, season expectations, the whole nine! Stay tuned for the content as we near closer to the season!

In the meantime, feel free to watch Srewsberry, John Harrar, and Myles Dread speak at Big Ten Media Days!
