The Penn State Nittany Lions saw no movement in their standing in this week’s AP Poll. The Nittany Lions are ranked fourth in the latest poll, they were, however, jumped by the Iowa Hawkeyes this week as Kirk Ferentz’s program jumped from No. 5 to No. 3.

Iowa and Penn State, of course, are set to face off this weekend at 4 p.m. on FOX in Iowa City. It will be the Nittany Lions' first top-5 matchup since the 1999 Pigskin Classic against a 41-7 win over the Arizona Wildcats.

Other Big Ten teams cracking the top 25 include No. 7 Ohio State, No. 9 Michigan, and No. 11 Michigan State. No other Big Ten received votes in this week’s poll.

In this week’s coaches poll, the Nittany Lion moved up two spots from No. 6 to No. 4, again, one spot behind the Iowa Hawkeyes.
