Despite being in the midst of a three-game losing streak, Penn State will open as an 11-point favorite against Maryland* on Saturday. The over/under stands at 56.5.

Both teams enter the game with a 5-3 record. The Terps began the season with a victory over West Virginia that propelled them to a 4-0 start. However, they had a three-game losing streak of their own to derail their promising season. Maryland bounced back on Saturday to end the skid with a 38-35 shootout win against Indiana. The winner of Saturday’s contest will gain bowl eligibility with its sixth win of the season.

Maryland defeated Penn State 35-19 when the teams most recently met in 2020. The game dropped the Nittany Lions to an 0-3 mark, before eventually finishing at 4-5.

Penn State and Maryland will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the game airing on FS1.
