Penn State regains the commitment of Center Elijah Hutchins-Everett, the last recruit of the 2021 class to decommit after the news of Pat Chambers’ resignation broke.
With Penn State’s depth taking another hit after this season, under the assumption that both John Harrar and Trent Buttrick decide to move on after the season, adding Hutchins-Everett to the fold gets us another option behind would-be starter Abdou Tsimbila.
The Nittany Lions will ultimately need at least another player to feel good about the depth inside, and whether that’s convincing Harrar to come back for a fifth season, adding another recruit, or getting a key transfer, Penn State would be best served by not going through the same growing pains inside it did this season.
Penn State now has two scholarships open for the 2021 class, barring any unforeseen departures.
If you'd like to recall what Hutchins-Everett has to offer, feel free to read his original commitment post.
Welcome back, Elijah!
