TOP OL TARGET MAKES IT TO TOWN
Over the weekend one of Penn State’s top 2022 offensive line targets made it to campus. During this past Saturday’s scrimmage that replaced the Blue/White Game, four-star offensive tackle Ryan Brubaker was on campus.

Brubaker attends Cocalico High School in Denver, PA. In recent months Brubaker has become a major offensive line target for the Nittany Lions, taking multiple virtual visits with the coaching staff. Brubaker is also a legacy recruit and has an official visit to Happy Valley scheduled for the weekend of June 4. As of now, the Nittany Lions appear to be the heavy leaders in Brubaker’s recruitment.
NEW OFFERS
In the past week the Nittany Lions have handed out a pair of notable 2023 offers. The first of these offers was extended to running back Marquese Williams.
After a great talk with Penn State’s coaching staff, I am blessed to receive an offer from Penn State University. Big Thanks to @CoachPry_LBU @coachseider @coachjfranklin @CoachWeachter . @PennStateFball Go Lions⚪️ pic.twitter.com/ZUmO8cVUSv
— Marquese Williams (@QueseWilliams26) April 15, 2021
Williams attends Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg. Williams is shaping up to be not just the top running back in Pennsylvania for the 2023 cycle, but one of the top running backs in the region.
Williams burst onto the scene with Bishop McDevitt as a freshman in 2019. Following his performance that fall an offer form the Nittany Lions appeared to be a question of when, not if. Now that Williams holds that offer, look for the Nittany Lions to begin to become big players in a recruit that should feature many of the country’s heavy hitters.
The other notable 2023 offer that was extended was extended to defensive end Mason Robinson.
Blessed to earn an offer from Penn State University! #WeAre @knnysndrs pic.twitter.com/s1upwAtGyI

What makes the Robinson offer so notable is that he attends McDonogh School in Owing Mills, Maryland. The McDonogh School has produced current Nittany Lion defensive linemen PJ Mustipher and Dvon Ellies, as well as linebacker Curtis Jacobs. It is also the home to borderline five-star 2022 defensive end Dan Dennis-Sutton, who Penn State appears to be the leader for.
The McDonogh School is one James Franklin and his staff have had great success at in recent cycles. With the school becoming a bit of a Penn State pipeline, any offer that is extended to a McDonogh player immediately becomes a noteworthy one.
