Penn State’s Final Spring Practice Open to the Public

We will take what we can get.

NCAA Football: Penn State Spring Practice Mark Alberti-USA TODAY Sports

Despite holding its quasi “Blue-White game” last Saturday, Penn State still had three practices left in the spring. It planned to wrap things up on Friday, April 23 with current Penn State seniors allowed to come to Beaver Stadium for one final time. Instead, things have changed, as this Friday’s practice at 6:30 p.m. is now open to the general public.

In order to attend, you need to obtain a FREE ticket from Fevo, which is apparently some ticket purchasing platform that is attached to TicketMaster. Anyway, you can check the link out here.

Sounds easy, right?

Well, you would be wrong.

With thousands of Penn Staters rushing to get tickets, and Penn State Athletics seemingly only opening up a certain number of tickets every minute, it makes getting tickets nearly impossible. I started trying to get tickets around 10:00, and wasn’t able to secure them until 11:56. Continued and continued to get “Your Tickets Were Already Purchased!” messages.

Greatly planned out process by Penn State Athletics? Clearly a no. But hey, we’re going to get football in Beaver Stadium for us common folk. I’ll take it.
