Izaiah Brockington was the first Penn State hoops player that initially entered the transfer portal to pull out of it and state his intent to stick with the program back in late March.
So much for all of that “run it back” talk. Earlier today, reports surfaced that Brockington had re-entered the portal. Brockington later tweeted out the following post below, stating his intent to graduate from PSU this Summer and pursue the remainder of his college playing career elsewhere:

Needless to say, what was looking like a big-time returnee for next season now becomes a big loss as Micah Shrewsberry tries to field a competitive roster for the 2021-22 season. Surely, PSU will grab some guys from the portal or find late recruits, but replacing the void left behind by the team’s top two scorers from last season departing won’t be an easy task. Hopefully, we won’t see John Harrar or Seth Lundy have second thoughts, either.
