WIDE RECEIVER COMMIT EARNS RIVALS CAMP MVP HONORS
This past weekend four-star wide receiver commit Kaden Saunders at the Rivals 250 camp in Minneapolis. At the event Saunders showed why he is a top-100 prospect taking home wide receiver MVP honors.
Congratulations to today’s wide receiver MVP in Indianapolis, #Rivals250 WR Kaden Saunders @KSaunders03

With his performance at the camp Saunders also earned an invite to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge later this summer. Saunders is the highest rated member of Penn State’s 2022 recruiting class and his stock only continues to rise. When it is all said and done it would not be a surprise to see Saunders as a top 50 overall prospect in the class. Look for him to make an immediate impact for the Nittany Lions as a true freshman.
QUARTERBACK NAMED AN ADIDAS ALL-AMERICAN
Speaking of Nittany Lion commits who have a stock that is rising, quarterback commit Drew Allar continues to show why 247Sports has him as a top 100 prospect. One week after being named the alpha dog of the Elite 11 Camp in Indianapolis, Allar has now been named an Adidas All-American.
Honored to be invited to the Adidas All-American Bowl! @AABonNBC @SWiltfong247 pic.twitter.com/cq3PRhiPWJ
— Drew Allar (@AllarDrew) May 7, 2021
The Adidas All-American Game is the former US Army All-American Game. Playing in this game can only lead to god things for Allar, as well as the Nittany Lions. This will give Allar an opportunity to compete against some of the best high school football players in the country in January before he enrolls at Penn State later that month, it also gives Penn State the good PR of having a quarterback commit playing in an All-American Game on national TV.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE TARGET SCHEDULES OFFICIAL VISIT
June will be a busy month of official visitors in Happy Valley. Now, this will include three-star offensive tackle Andre Roye who will officially visit Penn State the weekend of June 18.
June 18 i will be at Penn State ⚪️ #WeAre
— Andre Roye (@AndreRoyeJr) May 6, 2021
June 18 is shaping up to be an important weekend of official visits for the Nittany Lions. Adding Roye to the list just adds to the importance of the weekend. Roye has great athleticism for an offensive tackle. If the Nittany Lions push for Roye they could be the team to beat in this recruitment. It would not be a surprise if Roye’s official visit led to a commitment to the Nittany Lions.
THREE-STAR CORNERBACK’S TOP 6
Penn State is in the thick of it for a pair of high end defensive backs from Bergen Catholic in New Jersey this cycle. One of these two defensive backs is three-star cornerback Jayden Bellamy who has released a top 6 that includes the Nittany Lions.

While Bellamy is a three-star prospect he has all of the tools needed to become a four-star guy. Having a top 6 that includes Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, in addition to Penn State, exemplifies this. Bellamy has three official visits scheduled for this summer. They are visits to Notre Dame, Ohio State and Penn State. If his trip to Happy Valley the weekend of June 11 goes well the Nittany Lions could position themselves as the team to beat in his recruitment.
