We continue our countdown until the glorious return of Penn State football with No. 79 Caedan Wallace.
A former four-star recruit, Wallace wasted little time making an impact in Happy Valley. He pushed for playing time as a true frosh before the staff decided it was best to redshirt him, in order to preserve that extra year of eligibility. As a redshirt freshman, Wallace didn’t just push for playing time — he cemented his status as a starter at right tackle, starting the last seven games of the season for the Nittany Lions.
Wallace now heads into his redshirt sophomore year with some solid experience under his belt. While his tackle counterpart Rasheed Walker gets much of the pub, it wouldn’t be surprising at all if Wallace pushed for All-Big Ten honors in 2021.
Just 79 days.
