Only Bryce Effner Until Penn State Football

The countdown until Penn State football returns to our lives goes on and today we spotlight, No.72 offensive lineman Bryce Effner.

A three-star prospect in the 2018 recruiting class out of Aurora, Illinois , Effner committed to the Nittany Lions over 16 other reported scholarship offers which included Kansas State, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Purdue, and Syracuse.

Effner is entering his fourth year in Happy Valley after redshirting his true freshman season and appearing in 12 games the past two seasons. That included eight games played in 2020, though a majority of time was spent on special teams. This season, Effner will be competing for consistent playing time as part of the offensive line rotation but his overall role will likely still be limited.

Notably, in his free time, one thing Effner enjoys doing is making videos on TikTok where has over 21,000 followers and has earned over 1.2 million likes on his videos.
