Only Will Fries Until Penn State Football

Up in today’s player spotlight as we continue our countdown is former Nittany Lion, No.71 Will Fries.

Fries played his final year of college football in 2020, starting all nine games for the Nittany Lions and earning second-team All Big Ten honors from the coaches around the conference. In his career at Penn State, Fries appeared in 48 games and made 42 starts including every game the last two seasons.

During his time with the program, Fries provided a consistent and durable lineman that was a mainstay on the offensive line for the majority of the last three seasons. After finishing up his career in Happy Valley, Fries entered this past April’s NFL Draft where he went on to be drafted in the seventh round by the Indianapolis Colts. We wish Will the best of luck as he continues to chase his NFL dreams.
