69 days until Penn State football!
Nice.
In an honor of today’s countdown, we spotlight former Nittany Lion Derick Pickett.
It was a little hard to find Pickett’s accolades while we looked so if you have any memories of Pickett be sure to leave them in the comments.
That being said, Pickett was an integral part of Penn State’s success in the early and mid 90s. A tackle for the Nittany Lions from 1990 to 1993 (we believe), Pickett was a huge part of the offensive line from both a playing standpoint and a leadership standpoint whose primary job was to protect Kerry Collins.
During his playing time at Penn State, The Nittany Lions were 37-12 including an 11-win season in 1991 and a 10-win season in 1993.
