Only Blake Zalar Until Penn State Football

Need some help getting through hump day? Well, here’s a friendly reminder that Penn State will begin its 2021 football season in just 52 days.

Blake Zalar is returning for his third season as a member of Penn State’s offensive line. While he has yet to see the field, he has certainly been putting in the work to get there. Zalar was named as the team’s Developmental Squad Offensive Offensive Player of the Week a total of six times during the 2019 season as a true freshman. He followed that up by being honored as a Academic All-Big Ten selection in 2020.

Zalar hails from Coal Township, Pa., where he was named All-State as a senior while playing for Shamokin Area High School.
