We’re one day closer to the start of the 2021 Penn State Football season - one that should include more Hakeem Beamon on the field.
Beamon returns for his redshirt sophomore season after playing in eight games in 2020. He had his best game against Iowa, when he contributed three tackles and ended the season with a TFL in the blowout win against Illinois.
Beamon originally hails from Heidelberg, Germany, before ending up in Virginia where he starred in football, basketball, and track and field.
There’s a strong possibility Beamon will start next to PJ Mustipher on the interior of the defensive line. Regardless of how that position battle works out, Beamon will become a much more familiar face this fall.
We’re just 51 days away from Penn State taking on Wisconsin to kick off the 2021 season!
