Only Robbie Dwyer Until Penn State Football

Robbie Dwyer is a redshirt sophomore linebacker from Wyoming Valley West High School. Dwyer came to Penn State as a preferred walk on member of the Nittany Lions 2019 recruiting class.

Last season Dwyer made his Nittany Lion debut as he played in 3 games for Penn State. Dwyer earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and was named the coaching staff’s Developmental Squad Defensive Player of the Week following Penn State’s season opening loss against Indiana.

This fall Dwyer could potentially make an impact on special teams for the Nittany Lions. Regardless, he will be a key member of the practice squad defense each week throughout the season.
