Linebacker Nate Stupar came to Penn State in the fall of 2007 following a successful prep career for the State College Little Lions. Stupar would redshirt that fall before becoming a key special teams and then defensive contributor for the Nittany Lions from 2008 through 2011.

Stupar finished his collegiate career with 205 tackles, 14.5 tackles for a loss, 5.0 sacks and 2 interceptions. When his career with Penn State ended Stupar was selected in the 7th round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders. Stupar would go on to spend time with the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints and New York Giants before his pro career came to an end in 2019.
