The Penn State Nittany Lions season inches ever so close! If you’re like me and can’t wait to get a fix, there are games to watch this weekend!
Marquis Wilson, a 3-star prospect coming out of high school, had offers from major programs, including Ohio State, Alabama, and Michigan. Wilson appeared in 10 games his freshman season, logging 18 tackles (11 solo), three forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions. He had a more quiet 2020, logging 12 tackles and a pass deflection.
Wilson is another piece in a secondary that hopes to be one of the best in the Big Ten in 2021, if not the whole country. With tons of experience at every position, Wilson will not likely carry the load, but should still see time on the field, especially if that time is spent as a wide receiver.
