A week! A week! A week!

This is it friends. The final week before Penn State’s season kicks off in Madison! For those who need a fix, Big Ten football will be played later today when Nebraska travels to Illinois. It will likely be a close contest throughout, with the victor being in good position to compete for a bowl game later in the year.

Koa Farmer saw time in all four seasons he spent with the Nittany Lions, with that time increasing with each season. For his career, he had 128 tackles (58 solo), 12.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, a pass deflection, a fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles.

Farmer won the Ridge Riley Memorial Award, for sportsmanship, scholarship, leadership and friendship at the team’s awards banquet in his senior year. He also appeared in a number of preseason lists, but didn’t win any of the national awards. All in all, Koa’s career with Penn State was as solid as you could expect, even if it wasn’t spectacular.
