Heading into 2020, Penn State had a bit of a conundrum at the wide receiver position. Jahan Dotson was a fairly known quantity, but no one knew who would step up opposite him.
Parker Washington emphatically answered that question.
Logging 36 receptions for 489 yards and six touchdowns, Parker quickly became a dynamite weapon in the passing game. With defenses focused on Dotson, Washington routinely got open and became a reliable target for Sean Clifford.
Now, in 2021, the question is not who will be the #2 receiver, but who will be #3? If defenses focus all of their attention on Jahan and Parker, someone else will have to make them pay.
If Washington continues his upward trend from 2020 into 2021, he could be looking at an all-conference type season.
