Penn State’s Athletic Department made an announcement that will not be a surprise to many - the week four Penn State-Villanova game is set for a noon kickoff. The game will be aired on BTN.

The game will mark Penn State’s third home game in as many week’s, following Saturday’s 44-13 victory against Ball State, and this upcoming Saturday’s battle with Auburn, which will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. on ABC in front of a white out crowd.

Villanova, the sole FCS opponent on the 2021 schedule, stands at 2-0 after two blowout victories - a 47-3 victory over Lehigh in week one, followed by a 55-3 stomping of Bucknell on Saturday. Villanova will host Richmond on Saturday, its last game before heading to Happy Valley to face the Nittany Lions.

The all-time series is surprisingly competitive, with Penn State holding a 5-3-1 advantage over Villanova - although this will be the first time the programs meet on the gridiron since 1951. Penn State is still awaiting kickoff times for all other games outside of the Oct. 23 Homecoming game against Illinois, which is also slated for a noon kickoff.
