Success With Hyperlinking Is Feeling The ‘Burn

The animosity is building ahead of Saturday’s White Out.

Penn State survived its “trap game” against Ball State, handling the Cardinals in convincing manner. After a slow start in week one, the Nittany Lions offense found its stride this week, including Ta’Quan Roberson’s first career touchdown pass.

The Nittany Lions will face another striding offense this week, as the Auburn Tigers have put up 60 burgers in both of their first two games, albeit against literally the weakest opponents through two weeks.

Though the two haven’t faced each other since 2003, the animosity is already building ahead of Saturday’s primetime, Game Day White Out.

The Tigers do boast a strong duo at running back and a quarterback who will have something to prove on the road. The Nix family doesn’t have the best history against the Nittany Lions, however.

James Franklin to USC rumors are back on the menu. The ink was barely dry on Clay Helton’s pink slip before Franklin’s name was mentioned as a leading candidate to replace Helton. Another usual suspect has joined Franklin in the rumor mill.

Franklin isn’t the only coach with Penn State connections being brought up, nor is he the only current Big Ten coach in the running. Franklin, naturally, downplayed the rumor which never seems to go away, though the reality of the situation seems to make sense.
