ESPN’s two writers agree on the Nittany Lions, which I don’t think has ever happened since I started doing this series three or four years ago. UCLA would effectively have a home game, and I would be okay with playing them at this point. We’ll see if they get a little more consistent as the year goes on.
Also, in case you care, Iowa is their pick to go to the playoff.
CBS Sports has OSU and Iowa in the New Year’s Six, but slots Penn State for the Outback Bowl because given a choice between them and Wisconsin for the Citrus (the next-highest Big Ten bowl after the Rose), Wisconsin may get the bid since they have been to the Citrus less recently than Penn State. Personally, I think that’s ridiculous, but oh well. If the good guys keep winning, it won’t matter, right?
247’s prediction is also unchanged, which is a bit of a surprise given how the Bearcats looked against Indiana. Finally, Brett McMurphy has the Blue and White in Atlanta against Clemson. Given how they’ve looked so far, that would be quite interesting...
