The newly ranked top-4 Penn State Nittany Lions have opened as nine-point favorites over Big Ten East foe, the Indiana Hoosiers per VegasInsider. The 4-0 Nittany Lions moved into the AP Poll’s top four this week after a 38-17 win over Villanova. Indiana, on the other hand, held off a late rally by Western Kentucky to win 33-31, they’re now 2-2 on the season.

The Nittany Lions are 3-1 against the spread this season, though they did fail to cover this weekend against Villanova as they entered as 29-point favorites. Indiana, is 1-3 against the spread, only covering so far this season against FCS opponent Idaho.

At the time of publishing, depending on the book, the spread has already moved towards Penn State’s favor, with spreads as large as -10.5 available. Kickoff between the Nittany Lions and Hoosiers is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night, with the game televised nationally on ABC.
