Only Jaquan Brisker Until Penn State Football

Can you feel it? That feeling is the one you get when you know there’s only one more sleep left until Penn State football season.

To mark that, we’re dedicating today to preseason All-American safety Jaquan Brisker.

Brisker came to the Nittany Lions as a highly touted JUCO product out of Lackawanna College and after taking a season to get up to speed, hit the afterburners in 2020.

In an otherwise disappointing Penn State defense, Brisker was a bright spot, so much so that despite being dragged down by them, erm, other starting safety who will not be named, Brisker turned himself into one of the best safeties in the Big Ten and a legitimate NFL Draft prospect.

Instead of leaving, he decided to return for one final go ‘round and starts the 2021 season as a team captain and with a ton of hype surrounding him. Starting in a secondary that has been strengthened in the offseason and alongside his former JUCO teammate Jy’Ayir Brown, Brisker is expected to be an impact player in the season to come and if he is, could well go in the first two rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft,
