Penn State Nittany Lions quarterback commit Sean Clifford went down to Georgia over the weekend to participate in the Rivals 100 five-star challenge in Atlanta.
Above, watch as Rivals analyst Josh Helmholdt and Nate Bauer of BlueWhiteIllustrated.com break down his performance. If you're not familiar, Clifford is a 6-2, 210-pound pro style quarterback from Cincinnati who committed to PSU back in July of 2015.
The 2017 QB was "pinpoint accurate" early on, but got a little loose in one-on-one action. However, his form returned during seven-on-seven drills, according to Helmholdt.
"He spins such a beautiful ball," he said. "He’s bigger, he’s stronger, and that’s definitely being revealed in the velocity of his passes."
Bauer agreed that Clifford had a strong day, rallying his teammates during what were his very first seven-on-seven drills.
Clifford seemed to enjoy the experience as well.
Thank you to @Rivals and @RivalsCamp for the great experience! CHAMPS pic.twitter.com/ZBsqUCNjyb
