The 2017 three-star safety stands 6-2, 184 pounds and hails from Detroit. His 247Sports crystal ball predictions are split between Michigan State and Michigan, so PSU will have some work to do in order to get him to leave his home state. Nelson will visit Northwestern Monday and then Wisconsin on Tuesday.

ILB Andrew Ward Talks PSU Offer
Andrew Ward is the No. 2 inside linebacker in the midwest, and the Michigan native talked about Penn State in an interview with Scout.
"To get that offer, it was wonderful," he said. "When we went down (to Penn State), they showed us everything. It felt like I already had an offer or I was committed. They showed us much love, me and my teammates. Getting an offer after all that was wonderful."
"I'm going down to Iowa State soon for a camp. As of now, that's all I know."
However, the Nittany Lions are in contention for an official visit, official visits which he plans to help him make a final decision.
"I plan on taking it into the fall," Ward said. "I plan on taking my officials. There are a few places I haven't been that have offered me, so I want to go get a feel for those before I make a decision."
Ward visited Penn State last month. The Nittany Lions will compete against Virginia Tech, Iowa State, Indiana, Nebraska and others for his signature. Watch his highlight reel here.
Penn State On-Campus Camps Could Be Smaller
With the rise of satellite camps, one of everyone's favorite topics this offseason, PSU's on-campus football camps could see a lower turnout.
The camps usually draw more than 300 participants, but may not cross that threshold in the future. As a result, James Franklin and crew could alter their travel plans a bit this summer.
I'm out. Have a great weekend everybody.
